J. POCKER & SON GETS CONTROL OF INTERNAL PAPER

Uses KwikTag to put purchase orders and other paper away digitally, faster and easier

CHANDLER, AZ (October 31, 2001) — J. Pocker & Son, the New York-based business that has provided expert service in art and framing since 1926, has installed KwikTag™, the patented, fast and easy way to move paper to the digital world.

KwikTag transforms paper into digital files. Using KwikTag’s web browser system, an HP digital sender and easy-to-use Post-it® products, J. Pocker & Son uses KwikTag to cut down on the amount of time spent shuffling and filing purchase orders, packing slips, deliveries and orders between its Mamaroneck, New York manufacturing facility and its five retail stores.

“We can see the benefits of KwikTag already,” said Dawn Contreras, office manager at J. Pocker & Son’s Mamaroneck facility. “If someone from one of our stores calls me to ask about a purchase order, I can open the document on my computer screen in seconds and print it or email it. It’s much better than having to jump up, thumb through the file cabinet, pull out the paper, go back to my desk . . . KwikTag makes my life so much easier.”

KwikTag is a popular application for any paper-intensive process in any company, notably in the accounting, legal and other back-end functions burdened by incoming paper from the supply chain.

“What businesses like J. Pocker & Son are realizing is that despite the claims that we are moving towards a paperless office, incoming paper volumes continue to rise, and KwikTag is a simple, cost-effective way to deal with it,” said Steve Irons, president and CEO of ImageTag.
